Posted on by English National Ballet
After 22 years with the English National Ballet, we can announce that Daniel Jones (Soloist) will be retiring from the Company on 19 January 2014.
Daniel joined English National Ballet as an Artist in 1992, being promoted to Junior Soloist in 1999 and to Soloist in 2003. In addition to his roles in classical and contemporary ballets we have benefitted from Daniel’s tap dancing, acrobatic, roller blading and street dance skills on a number of occasions.
Daniel has choreographed new works for Company fundraising events, choreographic workshops and has worked as a ballet teacher for our Outreach programme. He also managed projects for English National Ballet’s Department of Learning and was a founding member of the Dancers Committee.
We would like to thank Daniel for his commitment to the Company during the 22 years he has been with us and wish him all the best for the future.
